The village of Marina di Campo is one of the most important tourist places on the island of Elba and offers many services. In the village center, which runs along the two main streets of Via Roma and Via Marconi, and to the picturesque harbor and the oldest part of the village, you will find many shops for shopping, restaurants, pizzerias and bars. The village is located on the right side of its bay, which has the same name, along which stretches the beautiful sandy beach, which is partly equipped with bathing establishments. In the summer season numerous events take place in Marina di Campo, which are mostly related to music, art and popular traditions. There are also concerts for a young audience. In the low season the place turns into a popular destination for athletes, thanks to the international Triathlon Elbaman, which has been held for years. This takes place annually in September. In addition, on the first Sunday of May the Elba-Marathon takes place in Marina di Campo.
